Since the announcement of this lens there has been a lot of speculation as to what the price will be like. "A friend who knows" and who I know knows passed on to me recently that the introductary price of the 35/1.4 Nokton Classic looks to be around US$520 (converted to US$ from the amount he quoted me, which was in another currency). It is still unclear as to whether the price will be different for the S.C. and M.C. versions. The optional hood (LH-6) should be priced around US$55.
