Cosina has discontinued production of 2 more lenses in its Voigtlander stable: the Ultron 28/1.9 and Color-Skopar 50/2.5. The 50/2.5 Skopar was first introduced alongside the Bessa R2 in 2002 and was one of the most compact 50mm lenses available. The 28/1.9 Ultron was first released 2 years prior to the 50/2.5 in 2000. It was the fastest 28mm lens made for any rangefinder and arguably produced the best image quality of any CV lens. At the time of this writing it appears that all major distributors still have stock in both lenses. In addition to these 2 lenses, Cosina has also discontinued the Double Shoe Adapter A. The other 2 adapter types (B and C) were discontinued some time ago. There is a complete listing of Voigtlander products discontinued by Cosina in our FAQ. {mos_smf_discuss:7} |
