Cosina has announced that it has discontinued both the Bessaflex SLR and SL line of lenses. This seems to mark the end of the Cosina foray in to SLR-related products under its Voigtlander brand (it still produces OEM SLR bodies and lenses for other manufacturers like Nikon, Phoenix, Sigma, Tamron, Vivitar, and so on). As of this writing, the Cosina factory has no stock left. For those in North America, CameraQuest has some Bessaflex bodies (US$349) and a few SL lenses in Nikon F and M42 mounts left. For those in the Malaysia/Singapore region, Shashinki has some SL lenses in the Nikon F mount still listed on their website. Please be sure to check with the individual seller before actually ordering anything to be sure. If you know of any new stock elsewhere in the world, please let us know in the forums.
