possibly stupid question about using 36exp film 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello I wonder if you guys can help. This is probably a stupid question but I've been using 24 exposure film in my Bessa R2A, shot two rolls with it so far all seems fine. But I've been using a stock of 24exp film I've had in my fridge for a few years now (in other cameras only just got my bessa) and I've never used a 36exp film until today when I bought some fuji reala. My question is is it normal for winding to feel stiffer? I loaded it OK and when I'm advancing to the next frame it's moving the film winder in the correct direction, I mean it feels OK but I'm a little bit worried because I don't want to damage the camera mechanism. Should it feel looser as I get the middle of the film then tighter when I get towards the end?

Any help would be great, forgive me if this is a daft question.
