with my R2A the shutter jammed once (quick in-shop fix) and right now there seems to be an issue with the RF focusing cam (it is fine with a 50mm lens but with no other lens does the RF patch line up at infinity).<br /><br />with my longer-lived and more-beaten R2 I have had zero problems beyond having to tighten the rewind crank handle screw. Took 3 seconds and a flathead jewelers screwdriver.<br /><br />On my lenses, the barrel of my 50 Nokton loosened once. All the others have been fine.<br /><br />On my trigger winders, the older one (attached to my R2) is fine. The newer one loosened rather easily and I self-fixed it (
details here)<br /><br />I think I stated in a prior thread that I've had no better or worse experiences (in terms of quality) with Bessas then with other cameras I've owned at the same price point. The lens imaging quality is better then that of most other (SLR lenses, especially) lenses of equal (and sometimes better) price.
