I mainly use the Nokton 40/1.4; and I'm finally getting used to the fixed focal length --overcoming my digital autofocus/zoom lens addiction. I love shooting mostly wide open.

I've also got the 75/2.5, but haven't used it a ton.

Both get used on the lovely R3A (of course, Av you know.....).

I have the 25/4. It's black old type finder w/o frame lines. Never bothered me that their not there. Just goes right along with having to scale focus if you know what I mean. And I just got a 35/2.5 color skopar(silver) for my R. I'm really going to like this setup.

What a frightening subject! I think I have all of them in LTM/M and SC mount! Only one that I can say that I dont have is the version II of the 35f2.5 in LTM mount! I know that it is excessive. but I been accumulating these since 1998 (as if that makes it more palatable). There are several duplicates and even one set in tri-plicate, the 28f3,5 I have in black, in chrome and in Nikon SC mount. It is a lens that I dearly love as it is stunning in black/white. I also have one of maybe three 35f1.2's in Nikon Rangefinder mount. It was a gift from Mr Kobayashi at Cosina/Voigtlander a couple of years ago.

Interesting. My favorite lens for rendering b&w is the 28 Ultron.

Are you planning on getting a LE panda 35/1.2?

I also have the M-mount 35f1.2 as I was doing some testing of it in a pre-production stage. Great lens and if you really want to see what it can do, use it on the Leica M8 at 1250 ISO in monochrome. It would be difficult to replicate on film.
I have a bit of a fetish for black lenses. having been a rangefinder user since the late 50's I am somewhat set in my ways. The chrome barrells always show up in the finder and in bright sunlight they can become a major irritant. I also find it difficult to see f-stops and distance markings against a chrome background. One of my favourite wide angles is an old 21/4,5 Biogon, superb quality (although Mr Kobayashi insists that the new version coming this summer is better, with even less distorsion!). Unfortunately, it is 50's bright chrome and I cant see any numbers on it in bright light, so it is mostly use as a hyper focal lens!
