R3A Focusing Patch 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Just Swap my R2A to R3A, since i need more magnification for my old eyes.

so I use 35 pancake II with 40mm frame lines and realize that focusing patch (square box in the middle) was shifting when i tried to focus. In particular, infinity will make focusing patch in the middle of frameline and 0.7 meter will place focusing patch in up left of frameline. This also occured with 50mm lens in 50 framelines

Is it normal?

if it's as you describe, then it's not normal for an R3A.

With the R2, both the framelines and RF patch shifted as you focused for parallax correction. With the R2A/R3A/R2M/R3M/R4A/R4M only the framelines move up and down. The rf patch should stay static.
