Bessa Rangefinders dust sealing 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Going to the Mideast this fall, and I need to know if anyone has any knowledge of how well dust sealed the Bessa R2, R3, R4s are? I couldn't get a response from the distributor, and frankly, I only have one Leica body that's in good shape. Prefer someone respond with personal experience or direct knowledge. Thanks in advance.

my guess is that it depends on how fine the dust is. Normal desert sands aren't that bad but in the heavily trafficked areas are extremely fine.

My last visit home (LA) involved visiting my dad at his retirement place in Palm Desert and some walking around the other desert areas (some less "kept&quot and my Bessas suffered no noticeable injury.
