Agree completely with the review Brian.&nbsp; people who know my photos will tell you that the 28 is virtually my &quot;standard&quot; lens.<br />This goes way back to the 60&#039;s when I started my R/F photography with my Fed2 its standard lens and 28mm Orion-15.<br />The Ultron was a replacement for a 28mm Ricoh lens (the L39mm version of the GR 1 compact lens) which proved to be faulty, as it had a balsam separation.&nbsp; Ffordes the dealers could not replace it with another Ricoh lens, and they offered the Ultron instead.&nbsp; &nbsp;I have never regretted accepting since after seeing the first results from it.<br />Its an outstanding lens.&nbsp; V/F ,? I use the full frame of the R2 viewfinder most of the time.

When I started photography, both with an SLR as a teenager and with a Kiev RF a few years back, my standard lens was a 50. Almost in parallel it slowly became 35 and now a 28mm sits on both my R2a and FM3a most of the time. With the right technique (i.e. getting in close enough) it&#039;s a very powerful focal length for street photography.<br /><br />Ever since I lost my CV 28mm metal VF at the San Diego Zoo last year I&#039;ve been using the outer edges of my R2 and R2a VF, too. Works fine thus far, even with me wearing glasses.&nbsp;

I&#039;ve been using my Bessa-R with the 28mm f1.9, and the camera viewfinder (not the 28 Acessory finder) recently.<br /><br />I like this combination very much, there is something about it...........&nbsp;
