Filters on my R2A 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello, I have just purchased my first film camera, a voigtlander bessa r2a with a 35mm 1.4 nokton. I intend to take black and white with this camera and have purchase a mid yellow x2 filter and an orange yellow x4 filter. I am not sure if the metering is through the lens and would automatically take account of the filter as it would on my dslr, or do I have to make a manual adjustment by two or four stops. Any help with this would be great.

Thanks Peter

Hi,
the metering is TTL (Through the Lens) - just screw on the filter and don't worry about the exposure.
Btw. it can be easily checked by metering same scene with and without a filter in manual mode
Wish you a nice day and welcome to Voigtlaender community )
