OK, picked up the R4M and the 25/4. Burned a roll of Tri-X at approx. 640 and ran it plus 1 1/2 in X-Tol. I've got some issues with the meter ... mine seems to simply blink helplessly at 1/2 ad 1 sec. I find that annoying since it reads at 1/4 sec ... but whatever on that for now.

It was gloomy and October like all day in NYC. Here are some attached jpegs showing what it feels like getting to work. #35 is along the lines of what I'd like to explore with this lens ... both under and above ground.
Close and wide, great stuff. My favorite is #2, but 1 works for me as well. Is that flare in the third?

Yep, that's some flair from a very close open bank of flouresent lights ... not terribly surprising. So worked through another roll ... this one pushed an additional 1/2 stop @ 800 and run +2 in X-Tol. I'm doing this only because I'm drifting in and out of low-light to daylight situations. Once I settle in, I'll stry and stick to one or the other and definitely shoot more normal ASA + processing combinations outside. For now, I'm loving this camera! (although having a bit of trouble getting used to the meter). Have a look:
Good stuff.

I took my kids to the zoo today, which involves a 30m ride on the metro, so I had a good chance to use my 21/4 ;D

alright, well, I look forward to seeing some. I'm taking the next week off to hang with family. Post Labor-Day starts a big push into the fall business crunch for LightsidePS.com and we could all use the break. However, based on the early results of the R4M and 24/4, I'm already excited to get back to the city and continue shooting!
