Well, I loved the trigger wind for Bessa T, for left-eyed types it's light, easy, quick. After a long time with the RapidWinder on a Leica M6, this was a no-brainer for me. I started aeons back with with Canon VT, of course.

However... until the Bessaflex, there was no SLR which offered a winder. I hummed and hawed, really wanting a bayonet mount version, but of course the Bessaflex is now discontinued - oops.

Question though. Does this SLR (and the R series) have the same base plate configuration as the Cosina CT slr series? These take a winder, of course. Therefore, would any of them work with the trigger wind? Has anyone gone looking for this combination? Or the latest VC43 SLR with K mount, perhaps?

I noticed the Vivitar XC-3 pictured appeared to have a pretty similar looking drive cog layout, but the base plate was obviously a little wider. So it probably doesn't work.

Any experience or opinions out there?

thanks very much..
