Bessa L film advance slipping 10 Months ago Karma: 0
The film advance on my Bessa-L is slipping, so I sometimes get overlapping or even completely double-exposed frames. I know I've seen a simple repair for this somewhere - can anyone help me?

My temporary solution, since (A) Voigtländer/Cosina's representative in Norway hasn't a clue and (B ) The camera cost less than a repairman would charge just to look at it, was to supplement it with a Bessa-T. But the L is a great low-cost little camera for wide lenses, so I would love to get it reliable again.

I haven't heard of this happening with an L (or R) before, although it seems to be a common issue with R2 and R3 bodies. I usually get at least 1 partially overlapped frame per roll.
