what other brands of lenses fit my Bessa-L 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Would love to know what other non Voigtlander lenses will work on my Bessa L. I am trying to save some money being a student and all.

Cheers

On the inexpensive side you can try any of the FSU lenses (except the J-12) like the Jupiter-8 or Industrar-61. Canon and Nikon have also made some lenses in an LTM mount.

Hope this helps!

The cheapest 35mm LTM lens is the Russian Jupiter-12, but it's rear element sticks too far into the bessa r body. My suggestion would be to look for a used CV 35/2.5 Skopar Classic (not the newer pancake). It's small and sharp and shouldn't cost that much. Anything else is going to run you US$200+.

Would you consider 50mm instead? There are a LOT more options there
