But first, I need to find a reasonable seller. Buying online here in the Phlippines is prohibitively expensive due to harsh import taxes.

Come to think of it, since the R2M is a mechanical camera, as opposed to an electronic one, I should be charged lower taxes. But then again, those heartless Customs guys may argue that it's still electronic; the R2M still needs batteries for the meter...

You can risk buying overseas and having it shipped via regular airmail. Customs checking of airmail packages is random. If you wait for the holiday season (mid-Dec) you changes of not getting caught are better.

So long as the retailer agrees to mark "gift" on the customs slip

I highly recommend the Ultron. It was my first rangefinder lens. An R2M body would probably be my body of choice from CV. Personally, I'd probably pair it with a Leica M2 and use a small lightmeter like a Sekonic L208. I have no experience with the CV40. I'm sure its quite nice though and it is quite compact.

I'd go for the R3M w/ 40mm/1.4.
