That's the question: What would you like to see next from Cosina under the Voigtlander nameplate?

Not what you think is coming next, but what you want to come next.

Here are a couple things on my list:

1)A non-limited edition version of the R2m/R3m. Why? So I can get the body without having to get the lens. Not that I don't think the 50/2 Heliar will be a great piece of glass or anything. Just that I already have a Nokton and I live on a teacher's salary...with twin infants... . So, the option of just the camera body would be more appealing to me and might be more agreeable to my wife.

2) AN RF-COUPLED FOLDER!!! It doesn't have to be 6x9...6x6 is just dandy. I think the big issue here would be the leaf shutter... .

Others?

I wouldn't mind a nice and bright zooming 28-135 viewfinder with parallax correction similar to the old Tewe and Nikon zoom finders. I'd probably buy one immediately for my Bessa-T if CV made one.

I also find a very compact fixed-lens rangefinder to be very attractive. A camera small enough that you can take it anywhere. My Bessa-T is ok but I don't know if I would want to take it to a nice dinner party, say. I'm thinking of something like a Canonet but not as heavy. I realize that the Bessa-R and 35/2.5 combo is already compact but I think that a compact rangefinder with a very fast, fixed 40/1.4 Nokton would be really neat.

An updated folding camera based on the same chassis, with bomb-door mechanism like the Vitessa, but using telescopic tubes instead of leather bellows, normal winding mechanism, a choice of fixed lenses say 50/2.5 and 50/2.

A replacement for the Bronica RF645, and a replacement for the Olympus Pen half frame. They could both be fixed lens as far as I'm concerned.

I would like to see the Heliar classic 50mm f/2 (announced with the new R3M/R2M) marketed seperately.
