Hello, my first post here...

Anyone had an experience with the abovementioned viewfinder?

Thanks!

Too small for my tastes (.50x magnification). I love the 28mm metal finder...too bad I lost it

I didn't mind the image size, and did like the small size of the device. What I disliked was the very loose fit in the shoe. I had heard of others losing the finders and used tape in the shoe to tighten the fit. It has since been sold because the 28/1.9 is used on the R2A and I just use the entire view in the camera to frame, works for me. I use the 75 finder on a Canon P with some tape in the shoe to keep it from getting lost. The finder that really bugs me is the slippery 21, it needs tape in the shoe, some of Goodman's foam on the eyepiece to keep it from scratching my glasses and some E-Grips strips on the sides to keep it from popping out of my hand whenever it is handled.

Hmmm, loose in the shoe? Thanks Steve!

I want to use the CV 28/35 on canon G9, since the Canon lens appears to be a little wider then stated 35 and image in the finder might fit nicely between the two brightlines. I am also considering regular CV 35, but would prefer the size of mini.

yeah, the plastic viewfinders (I have the 15 & 21) need help staying in, especially if you insert/remove them frequently. The plastic looses friction with usage.

I use electrical tape

I use either electrical tape or masking tape and I don't skimp. I don't swap it on and off often, the finder and lens usually stay on through an entire roll, which may take a couple weeks. One might want to avoid putting tape directly on a Bessa's paint, I did and it is not as well-adhered as I would expect.
