Hi Brian,

How do are you getting along with ERA100 in 4x5? I'm thinking about getting a 5-pack of the 4x5 boxes, as well as 25 sheets of the 8x10. I've been thinking recently about taking my 8x10 out, again :P
Actually, I odered a bunch of boxes from S. Taiwan (Issac) just about a month ago. After the first box finished I couldn't find any excuse not to...it's really good stuff. Now my issue is finding development I like. My usual 35mm routine (Rodinal 1+50 for 14m @20C) is okay, but it's a long time to spend in complete darkness and by the time I tray develop a couple the temp has changed too much. Next time I'm trying T-Max developer for 6m and see how that goes.

Brian,

I had been shooting quite a bit of ERA and really like it. In fact, it had become my favorite film because it is cheap and the results speak for themselves. Here is a portrait using ERA 100...

http://plynnmiller.com/forum_photos/2007_02_013_025_500.jpg[/img]
Nikon F2A w/ Nikkor-PC 105mm f2.5 - ERA 100 EI 100ASA in LC29 for 12:00mins at 21C
Exposure - f2.8 @ 1/125 sec

Unfortunately, not taken with my Bessa R2, but still a very good example of the quality of ERA 100. As of late I have been preferring to use D76 Stock as a developer.

Thanks,

I'm going to be using 4x5 ERA100 sheets to do an upcoming portraiture project. Great skin tones, great contrast (Chinese subject, so pale skin & black hair), and great price so I have room to experiment and not have to worry about my pocketbook.
